LEXINTER
International Patent and Trademark Bureau

International Business and Legal Services

Mexico's  "Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Industrial" (IMPI) is the federal government's agency in charge of receiving patent and trademark applications.

After filing, IMPI legal examiners will be assigned to review and authorize the application for publication.  Once the application has been cleared (meaning there are no legal conflicts with other registered or pending trademarks), the examiner will publish the trademark in the official gazette.  If no opposition is filed by third parties, IMPI will issue a certificate of registration.

LEXINTER has the accumulated knowledge and experience necessary to file your trademark application correctly.  For over 15 years, we have established excellent relationships with IMPI's administrative officers which allow potential errors to be identified and resolved immediately.
